Commencing in Broken Hill we travel through the Flinders Ranges to Farina Ruins. We then follow the Oodnadatta Track past Lake Eyre South and William Creek to the Pink Roadhouse at Oodnadatta. Heading north we camp overnight at Dalhousie Hot Springs.
The next day we start our desert adventure passing Purnie Bore, traveling on the WAA Line to Poeppel Corner and the challenging driving over Big Red, before reaching Birdsville. Leaving Birdsville we head to Innamincka for two nights camping on Cooper Creek. We visit the Dig Tree before traveling along the Strzelecki Track to Cameron Corner. After breaking camp we head for Tibooburra and White Cliffs for our last night together for the conclusion of this great desert adventure. |
